Federal Watch Company offers a 5-year guarantee on all watch movements.

The Federal Watch Company guarantee does not cover loss or theft of the timepiece, damage caused by accidents, impact, drops, crushing, or other external forces, damage resulting from misuse, neglect, overwinding, or improper handling, or damage caused by unauthorized repairs, alterations, opening of the case, or tampering by anyone other than Federal Watch Company or an approved service provider.

The guarantee also does not cover normal cosmetic wear, including scratches, dents, strap wear, patina, corrosion, or other signs of ordinary use. Water damage is excluded where it results from user error, improper crown positioning, exposure beyond the stated water-resistance rating, or use in conditions for which the watch was not designed. Routine servicing, cleaning, regulation, magnetization, and movement issues caused by incorrect operation, including setting the date during restricted hours, are also not covered.
